Goddammit, I hate living in the fucking south.
Hahah. Of course, none of this indicates that the Dems are popular: It certainly seems like they're trying as hard as they can to alienate their supposed "base."
Or maybe not. Maybe it's just that the Democratic Party's base turns out to consist of investment banks and insurance companies.
Which, oddly, is also the GOP's true "base."
